University of Akron graduate releases debut album

Flutist Dianne Frank Williams, a 2000 graduate of The University of Akron School of Music, recently recorded and released her debut CD recording. Titled "Simplicity", the recording features many well-known melodies performed on the flute, alto flute, and piccolo (melodies such as Amazing Grace, Clair de Lune, Ave Maria, Danny Boy and Ode to Joy, among many others) set to a contemporary, almost "new-age" instrumental accompaniment.

"Simplicity" is already receiving a great deal of attention throughout Ohio and is expected to continue gaining momentum as more and more listeners enjoy its simple, yet intriguing, style.
