In 2001, Dianne released her debut recording, Simplicity, in response to the countless men, women, and children from all walks of life who were moved to tears by her expressive performances and her captivating music.

The CD's theme was simple…well-loved melodies set to a soothing and uplifting accompaniment. In this world of complexities, Dianne wanted listeners to focus on the simple pleasures, and so a recording of simple, beautiful melodies including "Amazing Grace," "Ode to Joy," "Ave Maria," and "Morning Has Broken" (among many others) seemed to be the perfect way to achieve such a goal. The response was phenomenal! Listeners everywhere commented that the music was so easy to listen to…so easy to enjoy.

Over an hour long, Simplicity listeners commented about the many ways they take pleasure in the CD. Some turn it on during prayers and devotionals.
