When She Got Her Start
Dianne Williams started playing the flute at age 10, at the beginning of her 5th grade year.
Dianne has three instruments: “Goldie,” a 14-karat gold handmade Powell flute; “Sylvie,” a sterling silver handmade Powell flute with a Dana Sheridan headjoint (with an 18-karat gold lip-plate); and “Woody,” a grenadilla handmade Powell piccolo.
All of the pieces on Dianne Williams’ recordings are original arrangements based on public-domain and new melodies.
Dianne records at Vuture Visions Studio in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. Her engineer is William
